| BMS is a painful, little known phenomenon. As a 57 yr old female, I hae experienced numerous oral issues for some unexplained reasons. BMS can cause even eating to be painful. It is common for post-menopausal women to develop as hormone levels change and affect all the mucous membranes, not just vaginal. Chewing time released meds can contribute. Time release meds should never be chewed or broken as this can cause a sudden rush of too much medication at one time. I accidently found the cause of BMS after suffering for 2 yrs. I take psychotropic drugs for bipolar disorder. My doctor took me off zoloft cause it didn''t seem right for my condition. As soon as I quit the zoloft and went on cymbalta the BMS went away. Good luck to all that suffer. | ||
