| A very interesting article. It highlights that these non-ablative therapies do work for acne scarring and wrinkles, but they take a long time to see the results. Non-ablative lasers have been around for a while, but patients and physicians must realize that the effects are due to the triggering of the skin to produce new collagen. This collagen production takes time, and it takes time to visibly see the results of such therapies. I applaud the scientists/physicians that did this well designed study. It provides validation to the procedures that I perform in my practice to benefit my patients with minimal risk of side effects. | ||
